Privacy Policy
Rasansh runs billing, kitchen, stock and reporting for restaurants. That means we hold two kinds of information: details about the restaurant using Rasansh, and details the restaurant collects about its own guests. This page explains how we handle both.
01 Information we collect
- Account details: the name, work email, restaurant name, city, business type and outlet count you give us when you sign up or connect with sales.
- Operating data you enter or generate: menus, prices, recipes, portion sizes, purchase rates, stock, bills, KOTs, payments, staff roles and reports.
- Guest data your restaurant chooses to collect, such as a phone number on a bill or for loyalty.
- Technical data such as device type, app version, IP address and error logs, used to keep the service running.
02 How we use it
We do not sell restaurant data or guest data to anyone, and we do not use one restaurant's recipes, costs or sales to give advice to another restaurant.
- To run the service you signed up for: billing, kitchen display, online order sync, recipe costing, stock, AI menu suggestions and reports.
- To create your account and send login details, service notices and replies to your questions.
- To keep the service secure, prevent misuse and fix problems.
03 Recipe and food cost data
Recipes, portion sizes, food cost and margins are among the most sensitive information a restaurant owns. They stay private to your account and are visible only to users you give access to.
The AI Menu Engineer analyses your own data to produce suggestions for you. It does not change prices or menus on its own.
04 Guest information
When your restaurant collects a guest's phone number for a bill or loyalty programme, your restaurant decides why and how it is used, and is responsible for collecting it with consent. Rasansh stores it on your behalf and uses it only to provide the service to you.
We do not contact your guests for our own purposes.
05 Delivery app connections
When you connect Swiggy, Zomato or another channel, order and menu data flows between that platform and Rasansh so that orders reach your queue. Those platforms handle data under their own policies.
06 Security
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Access inside your account is controlled by roles you set, per outlet.
- Offline data on billing devices is stored locally and synced over an encrypted connection.
07 Retention and export
Your data is kept while your account is active. After you cancel, you can export your data for 30 days, after which it is deleted from active systems, except where we must keep records to meet legal or tax obligations.
08 Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the account information we hold about you. Guests who want their information changed should contact the restaurant they visited, and we will help that restaurant act on the request.
